Learn About Robotics,
Join a Club Today!
The Discovery Museum is proud to announce the formation of a Robotics Club.

What can you learn from robotics? How about logic, engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork! With the completion of the Discovery Museum Science & Space Center Robotics Lab, the Museum is forming a robotics club, the DiscoverBots. This program helps young people discover the fun in science and technology while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills.
The club’s participation calendar is divided into a 7-week block.Club members work in teams learn how to build and program a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS®technology. Each week, members are introduced to a new design element to incorporate into their project. At the end of the seven-week session, friends and family are invited to an open house to see what their budding robotics engineer has accomplished.
Prospective club members must be between 9 and 14 years old. The club will meet once a week on Friday evenings from 4:00 – 5:30pm at the Discovery Museum Science & Space Center at 3615 Auburn Boulevard in Sacramento.
