Saturday–Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Closed to the Public on Monday

Birds:

 

 

 

 

Tucker is a Great Horned Owl that the museum adopted from the California Raptor Center in 1997.  This is the largest species of owl found in the Sacramento area. 

 

 

 

 

 

Milo, a Western Screech Owl, is the smallest species of owl living in the Sacramento area.  He was adopted in 2002 after being deemed non-releasable because he is imprinted on people.
