Community Missions

The Challenger Learning Center simulated space mission is open to the public on occasional Friday evenings. You can experience the thrill of space exploration with your family, friends, scout troop, or small community group.

Community Missions

Your adventure begins when you launch into space to Rendezvous with Comet Halley™, Voyage to Mars™, or Return to the Moon™. Working in the Spacecraft and Mission Control, you will experience the wonder of space exploration! See what it is like to work for NASA while you perform hands-on science experiments, operate robotic arms, or build a probe. You will also direct the astronauts’ activities and solve emergencies from Mission Control.
