Learn about the local night sky in Northern California's only public planetarium. The 20-minute star shows introduce you to our celestial neighborhood. All shows feature heavenly bodies locally visible to the eye and include current celestial events.
All year: Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Please, no children younger than 4 years old.
Come and visit live animals in the Nature Discovery Hall. Birds, mammals, reptiles, and insects are waiting to help you learn about their fascinating lives and habitats.
All year: Saturday and Sunday at noon and 2 p.m.
Fourteen beautiful woodland acres surround the Museum. Once you pick up a guide sheet, explore the local flora and fauna throughout the expansive grounds. Inviting benches and wide pathways make for an enjoyable outing. There are also shaded picnic areas if you wish to bring a meal. Cold beverages are available in the Museum store.
And don't forget to visit the Butterfly Garden!
Open during regular Museum hours. Please call to confirm availability.
